Our luxurious country retreat, where you can step back in time and still enjoy the comforts of modern life, is waiting for you. You are surrounded by beautiful late 19th century architecture, with every detail still intact, including the high ornate ceilings and their intricate patterns so typical of that particular period.

Each room is spacious with your very own en-suite; fireplace and private facilities. The upstairs rooms provide access through double French doors to a wide wrap around balcony from which you can enjoy some delightful views. For a little more luxury The Bordello Room has a four poster bed, luxurious spa and a bottle of Australian sparkling to enjoy around a warm and crackling fireplace.

There is also a guest living/sitting room complete with an ornate open fireplace and television. Enjoy a good book, or a nice beverage or how about a game of cards?

For your comfort the entire building is fully air conditioned which will make your stay even more enjoyable!

 

MAIN BEDROOM

A feature of this airy room is the ornate tiled marble fireplace and the two sets of French doors leading onto the wraparound balcony, with its exposed rafter ends and decorative balustrade, offering fine views over the village. The Main Bedroom has brass fittings and a unique ceiling rose complimenting the frieze and high pressed metal ceiling. For your comfort there is an ensuite, tea & coffee making facilities, air-conditioning and a flat screen TV.

DRAWING ROOM

A beautiful heritage room with marble fireplace and a Queen Size bed created from intricate turned wood. There is a large sash window which can be opened to take in the country air, whilst French doors lead onto the balcony where you can enjoy the winter sun or summer shade – just the place to relax with a beverage. Modern conveniences include an en-suite, air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities and a flat screen TV.

BORDELLO ROOM

This unique room is distinctly memorable. Pride of place is a large Queen four poster bed with elaborate detailed wood work. Other features include scalloped pelmets; full length (black out) curtains so as to pleasure that sleep in, while heritage bedside lamps and a beautiful rosette ceiling provide for a setting to enjoy. Partake in a complementary bottle of Australian sparkling around the marble fireplace or in your own deep cedar hot spa of the en-suite. Alternatively relax on the balcony with its fretwork, timber bracket mouldings and elevated view of the landscape. Other amenities include a flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities and air‑conditioning.

TELLERS ROOM (Upstairs)

This well proportioned room is punctuated with a beautiful wooden mantle and surround fireplace facing the Queen ensemble. The room features a warm country style decor and a large east facing window to greet the morning sun rising over “Hungry Hill”. Other facilities include an en-suite, a flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities and air‑conditioning.

TELLERS ROOM (Downstairs)

Situated on the ground floor, this spacious room is bathed with natural light through the sash window and the French doors which lead onto a verandah. The room is complimented with ornate high ceilings, its very own fireplace and air-conditioning. As well as having a separate entry other facilities include a Twin bedded room, heritage decor en-suite, a flat screen TV along with tea & coffee making facilities.

SERVANTS ROOM

The charm of this room is brought to life with the original brickwork of the era. This is further enhanced by the intricate decorative cornices, centre rose piece and a picture rail which defines the ornate ceiling above. Two large timber framed windows provide ample natural light. The room amenities include a Queen double bed, spacious en-suite, a flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities and air‑conditioning.
